The Discord Dood Racing League (DDRL) recently held its inaugural conference, marking the official start of the 2024/2025 racing season. This year, drivers from across the globe are set to compete in an exciting array of Formula 1 and GT races. The league has introduced a format that will see races conducted under all weather conditions, ensuring a challenging and competitive environment throughout the season. Teams will need to adapt and strategize to excel in both dry and wet conditions, promising an intense and unpredictable series of events as participants vie for top positions. The DDRL is poised to deliver an action-packed season with high stakes and fierce competition.

As IMSA collaborates with the DDRL, we start to see the events calendar take form, with races rumored to be alternating on a by-weekly basis. This season we have a number of new teams joining the league. First entry comes from Watkins Glen International Speedway's own "Strathmont Racing Group", followed by the "Lifting Bears Racing Team", "Polish Eagles" and renowned energy drink company "Sneasel Boost". As we know, these teams are eager to start their season but there is still room in the paddock! Rumors are pointing to the addition of at least one more team if not two into the league.
